World Food Day Campain - Remove Hunger : Make Children Stronger !

World Food Day, a worldwide event designed to increase awareness and understanding about the year-around action to alleviate hunger.

Food is a basic human right, yet around millions of people in the world still go hungry every day.

Hunger not only takes away the ability to work and learn but also kills people.

We are happy that 9,45,479 " Akshaya Patra" also had their nutritious lunch on World Food Day.

World Food Day (WFD) was established by Food and Agriculture Organization's (FAO) Member Countries in November 1979. It has since been observed every year in more than 150 countries, raising awareness of the issues behind poverty and hunger.

This year, our theme for World Food Day is 'Remove Hunger - Make Children Stronger!', only strong minds can work hard for a better future.

We are striving hard to take this movement a step further.

We are sure that with your support we can make a change and reduce the figures of hunger and death to a large extent till the next World Food Day.

This campaign's aim is to

  1. Liberate 200 Children from Hunger and Poverty
  2. Build Akshaya Patra volunteer community of 1000 people.
